Eagle Valley senior Samantha Blair placed second in the girls 4A final, covering the 5-kilometer course in 18:23 at the Colorado High School Activities Association state championship meet at Norris Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs. Blair improved from third place last season by eding Niwot sophomore Mia Prok (18:23.84) at the finish line.
